Snoring and Apnea TreatmentNightLase®

The NightLase® Laser operates by inducing a tightening effect in the mucosa of the pharyngeal (throat) region. This is initiated by the initial denaturalization of collagen in the throat, followed by the generation of fresh collagen. This process serves to tighten the throat muscles, consequently expanding the airway space.

Fotona’s patented Er:YAG laser modality optimizes the length of laser pulses, allowing for the safe penetration of heat into the oral mucosa tissue. It is gentle enough to be used on the sensitive tissue inside the mouth, but strong enough to provide clinically efficacious heating.

Through the Fotona SMOOTH® modality Er:YAG, patients experience an immediate and noticeable enhancement. Unlike injectable fillers, the LipLase® treatment is non-invasive, allowing patients to naturally produce their own collagen in their lips. By conducting multiple precisely calibrated passes, the treatment can achieve the hallmarks of ‘ideal lips’, including fullness, volume, a harmonious balance between upper and lower lips, and a well-defined vermilion border.

To stimulate collagen at an even deeper level, the Nd:YAG laser in PIANO mode is employed. This mode offers the utmost safety in reaching deeper skin tissues, while exerting minimal thermal impact on the surface. The laser treatment promotes superficial and deep dermal collagen production using heat, which causes a volumizing effect and a tightening of the skin around the lips, to form a fuller, firmer shape.
